MORE ON USING STOPFLASH™

BE BODY AWARE AND TAKE CONTROL WITH STOPFLASH™
Like everything in life we have the choice to be aware of our bodies and what is going on inside as well as outside of us. Menopause is no exception. Learning to be aware of what is happening to us during a hot flash teaches us how to control it with the help of StopFlash™. Here are some specific things that you need to know in order to start taking control.

First, a hot flash comes on fast but usually there are warning signs: initial chills, tingling, definite body signals that you should be aware of. When you get these warning signs, spray StopFlash™ immediately and follow the Directions for Use.

You will notice that when you begin Awareness Breathing™, your exhale is tense and you will not be able to exhale fully. This is due to the adrenal stress response which causes contraction of the diaphragm. Continue to breathe in through the nose and hold for a count of 5 before breathing out. This allows for a concentration of StopFlash™ vapors to stimulate the olfactory nerve. This is necessary for helping to block the hot flash triggers as they enter the brain. see: How it Works It also allows for more oxygen intake and promotes general relaxation. Usually within 5 breaths you will feel a release of tension in the diaphragm and the ability to fully exhale.
At this point, the triggers have been blocked and the hot flash is over. What is left is for the body to recover from the hot flash and begin the cool-down phase. If there is no release within 5 breaths spray again, it just means that the triggers are more intense. When the release occurs you can help the body to cool by continuing to breathe deeply and slowly through the nose, by exposing the skin to air and by spraying StopFlash™ on the face (eyes closed), torso or on the back of the neck.

Combining the use of StopFlash™ and Awareness Breathing™ will not only help put you back in control of your menopausal symptoms but will let you know immediately that StopFlash™ is working for you. Recent subjective test results have demonstrated 100% success among women using StopFlash™ as explained above.

MORE ON HOT FLASHES, NIGHT SWEATS AND SLEEEPLESSNESS

HOT FLASHES come on suddenly and always at the worst time. Tingling of the skin, escalating body heat, sweating of the head, neck and chest that quickly spreads throughout the body. The feeling of suffocation, sticky skin, damp clothes, then sudden chills.
NIGHT SWEATS often preceed the onset of hot flashes. Waking drenched, clothes and bedding
soaking wet.

With hot flashes and night sweats there is usually an INABILITY TO GET BACK TO SLEEP. Here are some things that you can do to help:
Clothing can trap air next to the skin increasing body heat. Wear loose fitting clothes and layer so that you can open airways. Fan your clothes to help cool the skin.
If you awaken with clothes soaked, dry off and put dry clothes on. Wet clothes cause excessive heat loss and can lead to shivering.

Wear cotton or other breathable fabrics. Sweat will dampen breathable fabrics but they will dry quickly due to evaporation. Cooling of the cloth then cools the skin.
Sleep near an open window and layer blankets so that you can take them on and off as needed. Be sure to wear loose fitting sleep wear.

DAY OR NIGHT KEEP STOPFLASH™ NEARBY

Spray StopFlash™ before you go to sleep and when you awaken during the night. To increase the rate of cooling lift your sleep wear and spray StopFlash™ on your chest and/or abdomen. Leave your top up and feel the fast cooling sensation. Spraying StopFlash™ on the back of your neck day or night causes a tingling, cooling sensation.

You can even spray StopFlash™ on the face. Just close your eyes and spray on the forehead or mid face around the nose. You can spray StopFlash™ on the back, feet and forearms. Try it and find the area that works best for you. During the day if you are in a situation where you feel that you can’t spray, just spray StopFlash™ directly onto your hand or on a hankerchief and inhale the cooling vapors.
